Once a year, our little town turns into barbecue’s biggest spotlight. More than 40,000 folks roll in from around the globe to watch world-class teams fire it up at the Jack Daniel’s World Championship Invitational BBQ.
For over 30 years, we’ve hosted the showdown that pitmasters dream about. It’s free. It’s family-friendly. And it’s one weekend you don’t want to miss.
2025 Results
The “Super Bowl of barbecue” crowned its champions this past weekend as pitmasters from across the globe competed in the 2025 Jack Daniel’s World Championship Invitational BBQ, held Oct. 10-11 in Lynchburg.
Known simply as The Jack, the event is widely regarded as one of the most prestigious barbecue competitions in the world, drawing top teams from the U.S., Canada, Australia, Brazil, and beyond.
