Lynchburg Harley-Davidson will be roaring to life on Saturday, Aug. 16, as the inaugural Friends of Animals Poker Run & Bike Night hits the road to benefit the Friends of Animals local shelter.
The day kicks off at 11 a.m. with the Poker Run, taking riders through scenic routes before heading back for Bike Night at 5 p.m. Expect live music from Sticky Kim, mouthwatering food, prize giveaways, and plenty of chrome to admire.
Around the Lynchburg Square, many local businesses will be open for dinner, and Company Distilling will also be serving guests. In the early afternoon, Jimmie Davis will be set up for on-the-spot laser engraving.
Shoppers can also snag a special deal from The Lodge Store – coupons found around the Square offer a factory second 10 1/4-inch cast iron skillet for only $4.99 (valid only with an additional $20 purchase; limit one skillet per coupon, one coupon per customer per day, while supplies last).
The Lodge Store is having a Fill-A-Tote Sale all weekend, Aug. 15-17 – buy a Lodge tote and get 50% off anything you can fit in the bag.
Registration for the Poker Run is $20 per rider and $10 per passenger, with all proceeds supporting the shelter’s mission. Whether you ride a hog or just love the rumble of the open road, it’s a chance to enjoy great music, good company, and make a difference for local animals.
