A Moore County native will soon be spinning dough with the fresh, authentic flavors of Marco’s Pizza.

Christen Vann Herman and her husband, Sean, will officially open on Monday, Dec. 16. The restaurant will offer the brand’s fresh-baked pizzas, cheesy breadsticks, wings, subs, and more. Customers can start placing pre-orders online Friday at www.marcos.com.

“I’m a Lynchburg native who married a guy from Michigan, and we made our way back to Middle Tennessee so our children could grow up near extended family,” Christen said.

Founded in 1978 in Oregon, Ohio, and now with more than 1,200 locations nationwide, Marco’s Pizza is the fastest-growing pizza brand in the United States.

Located at 930 N. Jackson St., Marco’s Pizza will provide a welcoming atmosphere for families and friends to gather. Known for using only the freshest ingredients and a signature three-cheese blend, Marco’s delivers a pizza experience that’s “Authentic Italian. Everyday Easy.”

Marco’s Pizza is noted for its dough, which is made in-house for that perfect crust and signature old-world pepperoni. Customers can choose from classic, thin, or Chicago-style deep dish crusts with available dine-in, carry-out, and delivery options.

Restaurant hours are 11 a.m.-11 p.m.Sunday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to midnight Friday and Saturday.
