2024 Moore County General Election Results

For the second time, Moore County voters rejected a 0.25% sales tax increase that would have yielded an estimated average of $30,000-$45,000 in additional income for the county at current rates.

The final count was 2,234 votes against and 1,259 for the proposal.

In the School Board Member District 2 race, Carrie Barnett edged Faye Keller, 257-214, with Jason Tucker tallying 192 votes.
