Middle School Raiderettes handle Huntland

The Moore County Middle School Raiderettes left no doubt Thursday night, rolling past the Huntland Lady Hornets, 43-13, in Region 4-District 15 tournament play.
Moore County set the tone early, jumping out to a 12-3 lead after the first quarter and carrying a commanding 20-6 advantage into halftime.
The Raiderettes continued to apply pressure on both ends of the floor, stretching the margin to 36-9 by the end of the third quarter and cruising through the fourth.
District MVP Addison Brandon led a balanced scoring attack with 10 points, joined by Haven Hornaday and Sadie Ivey, who also finished with 10 points apiece.
Maddie Goodwin and Lily Smith added four points each, while Madison Hatfield chipped in three points, including a 3-pointer. Baylee Thomas rounded out the scoring with two points.
For Huntland, Lillian Schultz led the Lady Hornets with four points.
With the win, Moore County improves to 17-1, continuing a dominant season as the Raiderettes advance in tournament play.
