Raiderettes blank Cornersville

Kinsley Miller spun five innings of no-run ball, and Bailey Dunn had five RBI as Moore County thumped Cornersville, 12-0, on Wednesday.

Dunn had a two-run single in the first as the Raiderettes took a 5-0 lead. She added an RBI double in the second to push the lead to 6-0.

Dunn's run-scoring single was part of a three-run frame for a 9-0 advantage in the third.

MCHS capped the scoring with three runs in the fifth, including an RBI base hit by Dunn.

Anna-Leigh Ross scored four runs, while Whitney Fanning and Dunn scored twice.

Ross, Fanning, and Dunn each swiped two bases.

Miller scattered two hits and a walk across five innings to pick up the win. She struck out four.
