Raiderettes clip LCHS for fourth win in a row

Moore County picked up its fourth consecutive win – and its third in three nights – with a 56-41 road victory over Lincoln County on Saturday, Jan. 31, spoiling Senior Night for the Lady Falcons.

The Raiderettes (14-7) set the tone early and never let up, using balanced scoring and sharp perimeter shooting to pull away. Moore County knocked down eight 3-pointers on the night and built a 14-8 lead after the first quarter before stretching the margin to 31-14 by halftime.

Lincoln County was unable to close the gap coming out of the break, as Moore County continued to control the tempo and held a 43-28 advantage entering the fourth quarter.

Emma Dye led the Raiderettes with 17 points, connecting on three 3-pointers and adding five points in the final quarter to seal the win.

Ally Sharpe followed with 14 points, highlighted by three first-half 3-pointers that helped Moore County create early separation.

Ellie Carter finished with 12 points, including two 3-pointers, and matched Dye with five points in the fourth quarter.

Bella Tucker added seven points, Emmeree Greenway scored four, and Harley Hart chipped in two.

Moore County was also efficient at the free-throw line, converting 14 of 19 attempts.

Mattie Graham led Lincoln County with a game-high 18 points.

The Raiderettes return to District play Tuesday night, traveling to Richland for a 6 p.m. tipoff.
