That momentum carried into the third quarter, with Moore County entering the final period ahead 46-36.
However, Cascade found its rhythm in the fourth, sparked by Kaegan Young, who poured in eight of her game-high 24 points in the decisive frame. Young knocked down a pair of 3-pointers during the comeback and finished with three from beyond the arc for the game. Her runner from just inside half court was the game-winner at the horn. Lizzie Keele added 14 points for the Champions.
Cascade helped seal the rally at the free-throw line, going a perfect 4-for-4 in the fourth quarter. Moore County, meanwhile, finished 4-of-9 at the stripe for the game, a margin that loomed large in the three-point defeat.
Ally Sharpe led the Raiderettes with 18 points, including eight in the second quarter. Bella Tucker chipped in 11, scoring in each quarter and finishing 3 of 4 from the foul line.
Ellie Carter scored eight, Abbie Bateman and Emma Daye each added six, Harley Hart finished with two, and Paisley Kelly rounded out the scoring with one point.
