A blistering third-quarter offensive outburst flipped the game on its head and carried Moore County to a convincing 67-45 win over Fayetteville on Thursday, Jan. 29.

Fayetteville had controlled much of the first half, edging ahead 17-16 after one quarter and building a seven-point cushion by halftime. That momentum evaporated quickly after the break as Moore County tightened defensively and found its rhythm on offense.
Bella Tucker added 14 points for the Raiderettes, including two 3-pointers, while Emmeree Greenway chipped in nine.
Ally Sharpe scored seven points with a triple, and Alexus Hornaday finished with six.
Abbie Bateman and Harley Hart each added four points, with Ellie Carter and Paisley Kelly scoring two apiece.
Moore County was perfect at the free-throw line, going 3-for-3 on the night.
Jayden Garner led Fayetteville with 18 points.
With the win, Moore County improves to 12-7 overall and 3-2 in District 9A play.
The Raiderettes are back in action Friday, playing host to Franklin County at 6 p.m., then again on Saturday, traveling to Lincoln County for a 6 p.m. tipoff.
Winterfest activities begin at 5 p.m. Friday.
