Raiders' offense sluggish in Wayne Co. loss

Moore County dropped its second game of the annual Christmas Classic on Tuesday, Dec. 30, falling 66-29 to Wayne County.
Wayne County controlled the game on both ends of the floor, using defensive pressure to limit Moore County’s scoring opportunities throughout the night. The Raiders were held to just three points in the fourth quarter and struggled at the free-throw line, finishing 2-for-9.

Anderson Sharpe led Moore County with nine points, including a third-quarter 3-pointer. Tristyn Gray added seven points, while Colton Morey scored four after entering the game with back-to-back 18-point performances.
Avery Rogers (2), Drew Hardison (2), Deaon Liles (2), Rylan Stovall (2), and Jase Deal (1) rounded out the scoring for the Raiders.
Cayman Camfield led all scorers with 22 points for Wayne County. Kace Bryant added 15 points, and Drew Baugus finished with 10, giving Wayne County three players in double figures.
The loss drops the Raiders to 2-9 on the season. Moore County will return to action on Tuesday, Jan. 6, with a home matchup against Community.
