Four Raiderettes foul out vs. Summertown

Moore County battled foul trouble and a deficit through three quarters but came up just short Friday night, falling 54-50 to Summertown.
The Raiderettes had an uphill climb from the opening tip, trailing 20-15 after the first quarter and 29-23 at halftime. Summertown's lead was trimmed to three, 38-35, entering the fourth quarter.
The game took a strange turn as four Raiderettes – Ally Sharpe, Emma Dye, Ellie Carter, and Harley Hart – all fouled out, forcing Moore County to juggle lineups down the stretch. Despite the setbacks, the Raiderettes stayed within striking distance until the final ticks of the clock.
Ellie Carter led Moore County with 12 points, including two 3-pointers, while Emma Dye also scored 12. Ally Sharpe finished with 11 points, Abbie Bateman added eight, Paisley Kelly scored three, and Emmeree Greenway and Harley Hart had two points apiece.
From the free-throw line, Moore County went 10 of 18.
Summertown was led by Ella Busby, who hit two 3-pointers on her way to 12 points, and Zoei Bonner, who also finished with 12, including one 3-pointer.
With the loss, the Raiderettes drop to 6–2 on the season. Moore County returns to action at Cascade at 2 p.m. on Dec. 27.
