Raiders fall despite Morey, Dickey efforts

Moore County dropped a 78-58 decision to Perry County on Friday, Dec. 19, in the Summertown Christmas Classic, falling to 2-6 on the season.
The Raiders trailed 16-11 after the first quarter and struggled to close the gap as Perry County extended its lead to 36-22 by halftime. The Vikings continued to control the pace in the third quarter, taking a 61-39 advantage into the final period.
Cooper Dickey and Colton Morey led Moore County with 17 points apiece. Dickey connected on three 3-pointers, while Morey added one from beyond the arc.
Anderson Sharpe finished with eight points, including two 3-pointers. Rylan Stovall scored five points, Braylynn Hill and Tristyn Gray added three points each, and Drew Hardison and Deacon Liles scored two points apiece. Joe Graham chipped in one point.
Perry County was paced by Colton Pevahouse and Kenner Haston, who each scored a game-high 20 points.
Moore County was limited at the free-throw line, converting just 3 of 7 attempts.
The Raiders return to action Saturday, Dec. 27, on the road at Cascade.
