Raiders rally to nip Culleoka

Moore County erased a six-point fourth-quarter deficit and closed the night on an 11-0 run to secure a 47-42 come-from-behind win at Culleoka on Tuesday, improving to 2-5 on the season.
Culleoka set the tone early, knocking down multiple 3-pointers to build a 24-15 advantage after one quarter, and carried a 34-30 lead into halftime. The hosts maintained control through three periods, taking a 42-36 lead into the final frame.
That advantage disappeared quickly.
The Raiders clamped down defensively in the fourth quarter, holding Culleoka scoreless over the final eight minutes while steadily chipping away on the offensive end to complete the comeback.
Anderson Sharpe led all scorers with 14 points, knocking down four 3-pointers – two in both the first and second quarters. Tristyn Gray added nine points, including a 3-pointer, and Cooper Dickey chipped in eight points with a triple of his own.
Colton Morey finished with seven points, while Deacon Liles scored four. Knox Hall hit from behind the arc for his three points, and Braylynn Hill rounded out the scoring with two.
Moore County also made the most of its chances at the line, converting 6 of 9 free throws. Gray went 4-for-6 from the stripe in the closing stretch to help seal the win. He scored six of the Raiders' 11 points in the pivotal fourth quarter.
Bob Holt led Culleoka with 13 points, including three 3-pointers in the opening frame.
The Raiders play Perry County at 5 p.m. Friday in the Summertown Christmas Tournament. XSports Network will broadcast the game on YouTube and Facebook.
