Trio paces Raiderettes past Culleoka

Moore County wasted little time putting its first loss behind it, rolling to a 52-23 road win at Culleoka on Tuesday night.
The Raiderettes (6-1) set the tone early, jumping out to a 23-4 lead after one quarter and never allowing Culleoka to find a rhythm. Moore County extended the margin to 29-10 by halftime and led 43-14 entering the fourth quarter.
Ally Sharpe led all scorers with 17 points. She scored nine points in the first, including the first of three 3-pointers, while Emma Dye added eight during the same stretch as the Raiderettes quickly took control.
Paisley Kelly finished with a season-high 11 points, including all six of the Raiderettes' points in the second quarter, and Dye added 10 to give Moore County three players in double figures.
Ellie Carter contributed five points, all from the free-throw line. Alexus Hornady scored three, while Abbie Bateman, Bella Tucker, and Brenley Tucker chipped in two points apiece.
Moore County was efficient at the stripe, converting 11 of 14 free-throw attempts on the night.
Kendall Reischman led Culleoka with 10 points.
The Raiderettes will be back in action Friday when they compete in the Summertown Christmas Tournament. MCHS tips off against Summertown at 6:30 p.m. XSports Network will broadcast the game on YouTube and Facebook.
