Ward named Miss Lynchburg
For Mckinna Ward, being named 2025 Miss Lynchburg is the fulfillment of a lifelong dream. A dedicated student and active member of the Moore County community, Mckinna always hoped for the chance to wear the coveted crown.
“Winning Miss Lynchburg is such an honor to me because I have been competing in the Miss Lynchburg pageant since I was a little girl, and it has always been a dream to win in the Miss category and represent such an amazing community and school,” Mckinna said.
A standout both academically and in extracurricular activities, Mckinna is a dual-enrollment student at Motlow State Community College and a member of the National Honor Society, Student Council, and Pep Club.
She is also a dedicated athlete, balancing time between MCHS cheer and competitive cheer with Cheerville Knight Kings,
as well as being a member of the MCHS tennis team.
Mckinna is passionate about giving back to her community. She started and manages the nonprofit Mckinna's Miracles, the Blue Miracle Pageant. and Miss Toys and Tiaras.
Mckinna’s pageant journey has played a significant role in shaping her confidence and poise.
“I have been competing in pageants since I was a baby and have continued throughout my life, and it has been the best experience ever,” she said.
“Pageants have given me the confidence I needed to walk out on a stage in front of a crowd and show all of my hard work that gets put into competing.
“I am so blessed to have been chosen to be the 2025 Miss Lynchburg winner and will cherish every moment.”
